Diaper R'us

I was slaving over the hot stove making dinner tonight when I heard a wicked little laugh coming from the living room. I figured Taj was having a good time entertaining himself, so I let him be for awhile. That wicked little giggle continued on longer than usual, so I decided to take a peek and this is what I found: a jumbo box of diapers strung out all over the floor. How could I be mad at a boy with a face like this?

"Grillz" features lovely gold teeth, perfect for the holidays. Not only are the teeth golden, they also look like dice, which makes them educational because your kids can practice counting every time they smile. SAD

So. . .we went to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving. We had the perfect weekend. Spent time with R.T.'s family on Thanksgiving day. Had swimming/pizza parties at the motel. Black Friday shopping. Temple lights. Family time. Most important. . . Taj time. Then . . . we came home late Sat night. Sunday morning R.T.'s brother Steven called to let us know that his wife Kaelin had suffered a massive brain hemorrhage. She was not expected to live. She was in surgery. Kaelin passed away on Tuesday Dec. 1 at 1:32 p.m. She donated her organs. So much sadness and sorrow during the holidays. The only comfort is that while her family is so sad and devasted, so many other lives are being blessed thanks to her. She was the kind of person that would so gladly give you her heart. She had a sweet smile and a sweet personality to go with it. She made really good rolls for Thanksgiving dinner. I was chasing Taj around the church and didn't get to visit very much with her that day. I'm so glad we had the chance to be together as a family. Tomorrow we leave to travel back up north for the funeral. Then back to Blanding for a grave side service and burial on Sat. Not much else to say.
